Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 1 year of successful personal injury experience. If you can handle a high-volume caseload and are looking to be on a winning team, please apply today. $70,000 - $135,000 salary + performance bonuses Responsibilities: • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation• Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly• Handle personal injury case files from start to finish• Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case• Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system• Providing legal support and guidance to clients• Finding ethical solutions to legal matters• Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers• Covering PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath• Otherwise handling case management from inception to completion• Staying informed about any current legislation and case law• Building trustworthy relationships with clients• Drafting pleadings, written discovery, and motions• Arguing motions and covering depositions• Marketing firm services in the community and as otherwise required Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required• Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital• Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired• State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory• Must be computer proficient• Florida licensed attorney in good standing with Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history• Outstanding academic credentials• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases or, alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a prosecutor or public defender• Self-starter, driven by long-term career goals• Superior oral and written advocacy skills• Team oriented Compensation: $70,000 - $135,000 salary + bonuses About Company: At Frankl Kominsky Injury Lawyers, we are committed to providing aggressive, effective legal representation to each individual client.
