Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk Reports to: Controller Hours: Full-Time Location: Chicopee Classification: Non-Exempt Position Summary The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Accounting and Finance departments by monitoring and entering daily sales receipts, assisting in the handling of accounts payable/receivable and processing biweekly payroll. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks Online and have high attention to detail. Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for entering sales receiptsReceives approval on and enters the companys accounts payable and accounts receivable invoicesPerforms other duties as assigned from time to time by Controller Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulationsMinimum of 1 year of AR/AP experience Basic computer skills required, including advanced experience with Microsoft ExcelStrong fundamental math skills requiredHigh attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive informationQuickbooks Online experience preferredManufacturing, Distribution, & Wholesale industry experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to sit for several hours at a timeOccasional standing and walkingKneeling, stooping and bending at the waist occasionallyLifting up to 25Ibs occasionallyClose visual acuity needed to read and write documents on a computer screenManual dexterity needed to type on a computer for several hours at a time Workplace Environment Indoor environment; some exposure to seasonal temperature changes
