Hematology-Oncology physician job in Virginia : Locums Abingdon, Virginia, Hematology/Oncology Opening Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees! ASAP Ongoing Need Will need privs for 3 facilities 1 FTE for 6+ months. Will consider multiple PT but not Ideal EMR: EPIC Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Monday, Tues at one facility and Wed, Thurs at another (8a-5p) unless it is their call week and, on that week, they add Friday at 2nd facility as well. Call Schedule/Responsibilities: They would be on a every 3rd weeknight call rotation and are on call Monday-Sunday of that week. Inpatient onsite call as needed at one facility and remote call for other two facilities unless they are there practicing and want to do an inpatient consult that day while they are onsite. There is very minimal inpatient face to face consult. Type of Patients/Cases: HEM/ONC Patients per Day: 15 Miscellaneous Information: At Facility #1 the business is about 50/50 Hematology to Oncology and at Facility #2 we are seeing closer to 70/30 Hematology to Oncology currently Support Staff: supported by 1 mid-level at 1 Facility and 2-3 mid-levels at the others, and has a nurse dedicated to the provider at each location.
