Machine Operator Summary Our Johnson City, TN facility is hiring for a 3rd shift machine operator trainee. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood flooring manufacturer. This person will be taught how to operate a number of different pieces of machinery and will have the opportunity to work into a machine operator role. Machine Operator Responsibilities: Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management. Must have the ability to perform basic math and understand complex instructions. Must be able to work with precision equipment. Must have the ability to identify problems when they arise, define the issue, and identify the root cause. Attention to detail Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output. Must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand long hours, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects, performing repetitious tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor Machine Operator Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Must be self motivated and organized Willingness to work in outside environment Machine Operator Pay & Benefits: Competitive Hourly Pay - $14.45 ($15.35 with shift premium and weekly attendance bonus) Overtime Hours and Pay Weekly Attendance Bonus for those who qualify - .50 cents per hour Full Plan of Benefits 3rd Shift: S-Th 7:30pm - 6:00am with occasional overtime on Friday $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days - $200 after 60 days; Remaining $300 after 90 days About Us: Mullican Flooring manufactures the finest Appalachian hardwood flooring.
