We welcome all applicants and look forward to new colleagues joining our community!Duties: Work with all matters of appraisals, internal property evaluations, and flood determinations and calculations. Provide support to the Appraisal Services Manager in the monitoring of each appraiser on the approved list. Review residential appraisals. With support of the Appraisal Services Manager, continuously seek to improve appraisal and flood. Perform flood insurance calculations and reviews. Provide support for Lenders and Loan Assistants throughout the entire appraisal process. Understand and apply relevant industry and regulatory guidance in the areas of appraisal and flood issues, including appropriate awareness of pending or recently issued guidance. Adhere to appraisal and flood policy and procedures. Complete training, as assigned, within the expected timeframes. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred Understanding of FIRREA, USPAP, Interagency Guidelines, and banking regulations preferred Understanding of real estate valuation and flood principals and procedures preferred Ability to effectively utilize computer technology with proficiency in all software applications utilized by First Community Bank Ability to multi-task Strong time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel
